Sexual Health Clinic

Aviemore Medical Practice runs a sexual health clinic every Tuesday from 4.30 – 6.00pm for residents of the Badenoch and Strathspey area.

If you wish to discuss any concerns re possible sexually transmitted infections either with or without symptoms or you wish to discuss contraception please contact us on 01479 810258 and we will be happy to book you in to our Sexual Health clinic.

Please be aware that although this has been an open access clinic to anyone we are now only able to offer this service to people currently resident in the Badenoch and Strathspey area.  If you live out with this area please contact Highland Sexual Health clinic on the above numbers or your local GP practice.

 

Information about intrauterine contraception (IUCD/IUD/Coil)

Aviemore Medical Practice does not offer emergency UICH/IUD/Coils and if you require this for emergency contraception, please contact the Highland Sexual health clinic via T: 01463 888 300.

For Aviemore Medical Practice patients only, before you book or attend an appointment to have a device fitted with us, it is important that you watch this short video about intrauterine contraception as it contains important information. We may have to reschedule your appointment if we are concerned about risks, such as pregnancy. This video explains any risks and the steps you should take to avoid them.
