A message from the pharmacy team at Boots in Aviemore

Thank you all for your patience and understanding in this uncertain time.

We wanted to offer some clarity on prescription uplift for people during isolation.

Currently advice stands that where you cannot collect your prescription you should ask a friend, family member or neighbour to support you.

If this is not possible, if you travel to the pharmacy and park in one of the designated bays [marked by Police Cones] at the front of the pharmacy and then phone the shop, a member of the team will bring your prescription to your car, allowing you to remain in isolation.

If neither of the above are possible then please phone the pharmacy and discuss your options with a member of the team. A delivery service may be available on a Monday for those in most need. This will be a limited service, for those with no other options.

At the moment the majority of prescriptions are ready to be collected on the fourth working day from ordering but please utilise our free text service or phone us to ensure they are ready before arranging collection.

We would like to thank everyone that as reached out to us to offer support. It is very much appreciated.

Prescription Requests

Please note that prescriptions requested early, will not be processed at this time. All prescriptions will be sent to Boots Aviemore or Milton of Leys in Inverness.
Please do not go to the surgery to collect your prescriptions.
