When We Are Closed
All emergencies out of hours will be handled by NHS24. To obtain this service when we are closed please call directly on 111.
NHS 24 provides confidential telephone health advice and information service for people in Scotland and works in partnership with local NHS Boards out-of-hours services to provide patients with health advice and help when GP practices are closed.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
If you're looking for advice on treating common health problems why not consult the NHS 24 self-help guide? You may find an answer to your questions here without having to call them.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
